The Other Room It's always there, set a tiny fraction apart from the universe you are currently in. Its already in the space between rooms that you are not used to paying attention to, that you assume are always the same. It’s contents at first glance look familiar, but on closer inspection details are altered, revealing a narrative of something or someone else entirely.
Momentarily one room replaces the other– a switch - presenting a fleeting new environment, a parallel reality, before the fraction closes and everything is replaced exactly as it was before.
“To whitewash is a metaphor meaning to gloss over or cover up vices, crimes or scandals or to exonerate by means of a perfunctory investigation or through biased presentation of data. It is especially used in the context of corporations, governments or other organizations.”
